Help From the Lord: Trust Him Today

Help Comes From the Lord: Trust Him TodayI lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip-He who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, He who watches over Israel, will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you-the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm-He will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going

both now and forevermore.

(Psalm 121 NIV)

Help…Jesus

Tell me…Is there anything in this world worth more than accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior? Jesus is worth more than rubies, gold, or silver. To those who believe, He is our all in all. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Who is Jesus to you? He has been my light, my helper, my healer, my best friend, my Father, my disciplinarian, my redeemer, and my rewarder to name a few. We believe King David’s description in Psalm 121 because we know how passionate he was to write what he experienced.

Advocate

Once we experience something, we become a strong advocate for or against. I can speak with passion about modern day miracles of healing, because we have experienced this.(video testimony on speaking page, releasingtruth.com) Power that comes with knowing God’s word and understanding spiritual warfare will turn the impossible into possible. Someone will read this and disagree with me. You may think…what help? I encourage you to go back to square one. Clean the slate. Do you want to believe in Jesus? He takes mustard seed sized faith and moves mountains. He will meet you right where you are. Trust Him today. Believers, please pray right now for these individuals who will start at square one. Let’s pray they encounter divine appointments. I believe for hard-fought victories today!

Hope

What to do with our nation? Fear is mounting. Are we to fear? No. God did not give us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. In addition, He gave us a powerful tool for knowledge, the Bible. Now is time to be smart, not paralyzed with fear or lack knowledge. Isaiah 40: 31- we are encouraged, those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength like wings on an eagle. They will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. We take comfort in scripture. The Bible is full of encouragement and help for us. It’s Dig Deep Wednesday! Let’s dig deep into God’s Word to help stay encouraged and seek the path God has for us in such a time as this.

Be encouraged!

    Very good Vicki. I often find myself fretting. My $ is low, my needs are high. I have been hit each month with an unexpected and usually around $500 bill. I am so sad about the government and what a mess it is in. Worry can over take my life. Thanks again.

      Dale, this is an attack coming against many. For us, the same goes for these medical bills. Ever since Obama care has been talked about, medical communities have reacted in various ways. Our cost seems to have sky rocketed. Then if we give in a little to anxiety, satan will dig in more. Draw a line in the sand today, begin declaring God’s promises over your life. God promises in Malachi 3 to test Him on tithing. The Lord Almighty says see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have enough room for it. He will prevent pest from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit.

      Now in no way am I questioning your tithe. Yet, I know since 2008, we have lived under this promised blessing. I wanted to share how we stay above the financial attack. Thankfully, David and I through a study from Larry Burkett before we married. There is no condemnation in gross vs. net. Yet, we believe to tithe from the gross. A personal decision. I will be praying.
