Tasks: Involves People, Involves Personalities

Tasks: Involve People, Involve PersonalitiesTherefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. (Romans 12:1 NIV)

Tasks

Motivating Monday! There is nothing better than to motivate individuals. We all need encouragement to succeed in day to day tasks. Most of the time, tasks involve people. Where there are people- there are people of all personalities. My natural happy-go-lucky personalty included a “I don’t care attitude and I’ll be happy to tell you.” This was not pleasing to Christ as He began reshaping my heart and mind.

Reaction

The gift of discernment is meant to privately pray for others in area discerned. This is a gift I would be eager to give back. Too many times I have reacted and allowed situations to frustrate me. However, as we grow in maturity and process through refining- we learn to think and process with thoughts aligned with scriptural truth.

Trust

Circumstances seem long suffering at times. As God’s Word proves to be true, we can trust it every single time. I am a reformed mother bear. This allows me to sit through unjust circumstances calm and trust God will work all things out for the good of my little cubs-according to God’s perfect will. This is something I want every young parent to understand- a powerful truth to calm years ahead when children are part of a team.

Purpose

God is God and He is the one that defines who we are in Christ. Who we are in Christ- defines who we are in this world. Set apart for God’s purpose, as living sacrifices- holy and pleasing to God, in a world full of temptations and trials. This is a tall task- better we understand scripture, more apt to stay calm.

Motivating Monday!

Let’s be motivated to look at individuals through Christ’s eyes. Learning scripture opens eyes to see, hearts to understand. Instead of reacting- trust God’s Word to work for you through all circumstances. I need this reminder often. Then I think how faithful God has been. He is faithful- so very faithful.

Be encouraged!
