Warmth, Presence, and Love…Impactful Forces

Warmth, Presence, and Love...Impactful Forces“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 ESV)

It’s Monday!

Motivating Monday! Three words keep surfacing to encourage you with today. Then I think about my exercise trainers. It’s Monday and I guarantee they have smiles on their faces, ready to engage with every person crossing their path. It’s exciting to be Monday! Let’s start this week discussing God’s warmth, presence, and love.

 Warmth, Presence, Love

While I was praying, these three words bubbled out from within. God, I want everyone to feel your warmth. By feeling His warmth, we feel His presence. Then when His spiritual hug embraces us, His love permeates. The reason love is lacking in this world, not many take time to wrap themselves in God’s presence, feeling His warmth, expressing His love. How do I know? Through tried and true experiences, developing Word knowledge.

Embrace

Can we physically feel God’s embrace? Yes! It’s like sensing someone’s presence near, normally raising warning sign. With God, no need to fear- His presence releases a super sweet feeling. My son built this prayer bench as part of his Eagle project. Imagine with me, the possibilities of individuals utilizing this bench to seek God. Maybe in the beginning- we do not realize we are seeking. We just feel desperate for release of built-up anxieties and pain…hoping there is a God. The only hope we have is God, even though, satan likes to provide false hope.

Freedom

Don’t carry heaviness in your heart any further. There are individuals who live a lifetime weighted down. When we stop to spend time with God, He sincerely lifts as we feel a gradual release into freedom. Because…those Jesus sets free are free indeed! He gives rest to all who labor and are heavy burdened. Begin to ponder these truths. Jesus says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Dear friends, take time to seek God; feel His warmth, cherish His presence, and walk in His love.

Be encouraged!
