Faith: Removes Fear/Calms Storms…Large and Small

Faith: Removes Fear/Calms Storms...Large and SmallHe got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Question…

Schools across America are ready for summer break. Question is…are parents/guardians ready? My college boy is home for a few weeks before returning to Texas for an internship, middle son out yesterday, and my daughter today, I’m already feeling tension with more time at home equaling more messes and clutter build-up. This completely stresses me out. This is nothing compared to unstructured time for many children and what might draw their attention as they become older. Storms may be brewing and we might feel like no one cares.

Deceived?

Parenting is no small task. We have a responsibility to teach our children/grandchildren nurturing them into responsible citizens who love God, country, and people. What has caused many to hate God, hate our country, and hate people? Individuals without Christ, are without Biblical knowledge teaching the way we should go. Therefore, the world has it’s own ideology that simply says…focus on self and create one’s own desired ideology. And if this opposes Jesus- even better for a growing number of Americans. These people are deceived. Longer false information remains…more instability turns into norm, allowing the devil to provide superficial comfort, pushing one deeper into deception.

Faith

When chaos enters and calm is a necessity, fear must cease…exercising faith, a must. From 0-10 where would you rate your faith level? This depends on how much we seek Jesus, growing in Word knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Every problem, every concern is discussed in scripture, producing answers to world problems, answers to quiet storms in our own lives.

All- Knowing

Faith and Word knowledge work hand in hand. From small to large problems faced, Jesus has all answers. God is supreme, all knowing, and has complete control over storms in our lives, just like an actual storm with His disciples. He is faithful. If Jesus has peace during storms, so can we…as long as we seek truth.

Be encouraged!
