“They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.’ ” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame. But in the Lord all the descendants of Israel will be found righteous and will exult. (Isaiah 45:24, 25 NIV)
Nothing like fair warnings to kick those willing to listen into gear. The book of Isaiah is one of my favorites- a wealth of information. Isaiah, a prophet, saw and warned a rebellious nation. Chapter 1:2 Hear, O Heavens! Listen, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. The same is happening in America- it’s not the world that is alarming, it’s God’s own children who are rebellious.
Deception mixed into societal confusion, creates a numbing sensation, no longer desiring to decipher. This is where we need motivation. We cannot allow ourselves to weaken stands, slumber, or become indifferent. Love does win- love wins! It’s only love through Christ, powered in truth and righteousness, purifying hearts to be sincere. You may be in a church where God’s Word is mocked, denounced, or neglected. Justifying sin is not Christ’s definition of love. God’s love is speaking truth in love. Sin separates individuals from Christ. The Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, will always work within to keep God’s children from sinning. We feel an internal nudge- decide to turn from sin or become engulfed, fully emerged. Once emerged, satan has bound and will take a miracle to loosen his grip. Good thing our Father is a miracle giving God.
Will believers continue to rage against God? Interesting to see that even though they rage, they still know God as their source, yet will be too late. They will look towards God and be put to shame. Those found righteous will exult- show excitement and jubilation. What an experience to be ready for…it will happen. Not an if, a matter of when. As time approaches, please be found righteous and willing to exult/praise Jesus Christ. Avoid being rebellious. Truth can be found, when we are willing to see.
