New Creation: Imagine All God Has Waiting

New Creation: Imagine All God Has WaitingTherefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God…(2 Corinthians 5:17, 18a ESV)

Motivating Monday!

When you hear the MercyMe song, Dear Younger Me…what comes to mind? As the song continues…it’s not hard to look back at what we would change, so very true. Yet, all lessons in life prove an example to help others overcome. I’m a firm believer in God’s Word. His Word is true and valuable for our lives, every day, every hour, every minute, every second. It’s not waiting until circumstances make us question, what do others do without Jesus. Let’s take time to invite others to know Jesus.

God’s Love

No mountain too high, no valley too low…God’s love can reach into the most difficult reaching crevice. Sin is prevalent, pushing its way into everyday norm and while most in the church are slumbering- definitely not wanting to offend anyone, the devil is gaining ground. If you find yourself indifferent or dismissing God’s Truth, you are slumbering and likely deceived. How can anyone argue with God’s Holy Word? A good question I hope to answer later this week. Thankfully, the devil has already lost. Jesus died on the cross, conquering sin for all. First, we have to ask Jesus to be our Savior. We become a child of Christ in order to find God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

New Creation

Once asking Him into our hearts, we become new in Christ, a new creation. This is the clear image of knowing who is in Christ and who is not. In Christ, all creations are new. This means moving towards holiness, not engaged into more world ideologies, controlled by satan. There is no middle ground- no luke warm, it’s either hot or cold, God or satan. Anyone caught in the middle is like being spewed out, explained in Rev 3:15, 16. Who does not like new? We love new things. Yes, we do keep around our worn out, warm and snuggly blankets, sweaters, and stuffed animals. Yet, when discussing our well-being, eternal life, abundant life here on earth…we need Jesus. Starting fresh and new in Christ Jesus is worth every step forward, accepting all Christ has waiting for those who seek and find.

Be encouraged!
