Fog Removed, Paths Cleared…Strengthened

Fog Removed, Paths Cleared...StrengthenedTherefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. (Hebrews 12:12 NIV)

Forward Friday!

Hebrews 12, having much to say on discipline. God’s discipline is a good thing-like James 1 informing us to consider trials pure joy. Looking back is easier than when first surrendered to God’s Will, shocked life’s flow came to a halt. If we take Christianity serious, and we do need to take serious, Hebrews 12:11 is a great encouragement: No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Yearning Hearts

Therefore…Paul’s cue to grasp understanding, no longer defeated. God’s authority in trials and discipline are meant for our good. Staying the same, produces same results. In Christ, Spiritual journeys begin as soon as we accept Jesus, offering hearts yearning for change. We do not want to stay the same, embracing all God has for us, set in place before we were ever born.

Paths

Level paths for our feet…no longer fogged and/or directionally challenged. An angel pointing directions at every turn would be nice, however, understanding God’s directions come through prayer and learning to lean in and hear His voice. Hearts must become decluttered, in order hear God’s directions clearly. Removing clutter from our lives- anything that fogs our line of vision, brings clarity in understanding all things. A friend of mine, so very proud, no alcohol in over a year. She made a decision to quit, and a fog lifted off her life. Success began happening in all areas of her life.

Good Vs. Evil

Satan knows exactly how to lay fog in our lives. Bitter roots we’ve discussed recently, overcompensating for low self-esteems, indulgence into false sense of empowerments, indifference, slumbering, counterfeits, toxic people, the list is endless. Everything good in God’s Word, satan has a counterfeit. Deception is easily accepted, with God’s Truth dashed in like salt and pepper. In the end, Truth is lost and deception takes over.

Ask- Ask, Seek, Knock!

It’s time! Ask God- what clutter needs to be removed, cutting fog out of daily life. Let’s strengthen feeble arms, and weak knees. Just as the lame needed healed, we have work to do. What is God’s purpose in your life? Determining purpose, directions become clear and paths made level for our feet. Moving forward!

Be encouraged!
