Alignments Release God’s Power to Perfection

“There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (Luke 21:25-27 NIV)

Words

Words sang- moon and the stars declare who you(God) are, struck deep in my heart yesterday. Alignments came to mind. In order to have a red moon, there has to be perfect alignment between the sun, earth, and moon. The pure existence of the moon and stars are God’s creation.

Alignments

David, the shepherd boy came to mind. In 1st Samuel 17:50  David trumped over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. David only arrived at the battle to deliver cheese and bread for his brothers and to report back to his father their welfare. Unbeknown to him, he moved into alignment of God’s purpose for his life. Goliath only saw a boy. David replied, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” Through David’s declaration, perfect alignment came between his stone and Goliath’s forehead, releasing God’s power to defeat the enemy.

Changes

You know, not much has changed since this confrontation between Goliath and David. Bullies continue beating down those who threaten them in all areas of life. From greater schemes of life to smaller, our God has not changed. We begin moving into alignment as we accept Jesus as our personal Savior. As we further seek, we find conditions in our heart changes. More changes made aligning ourself to God’s purpose for our lives, stronger we stand in confidence like David. God remains the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel. This not only applies to our personal lives, this applies understanding to all nations.

Stand Strong

Forward Friday! From moon and stars declaring God’s existence to challenges in life, alignments to God’s purpose in our life creates confidence to stand strong for days ahead. Signs will come in the sun, moon, and stars. One day, Jesus will return.
