Trials Darken Our World As Truth Shines Light

Trials Darken Our World As Truth Shines LightConsider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:1-4 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

Motivating Monday! This truth grasped will give us strength to face trials with new light. Trials have a way to darken our world. Minds bypassed with darts landing straight into our hearts. Whatever trial is being faced, God will redeem. Not how we think – how His thoughts work higher than ours. For God knows the plans He has for you and His ways are more than we can possibly imagine.

I will never know why bad things happen to good people. The only conclusion resolved is we live in a fallen world. Bad things happen. We all face trials. It’s human nature to respond. Learning God’s Word, scripture becomes part of our equation. Biblical truth mixed with natural tendancies creates a passion for truth- producing joy. Your asking, “How in the world am I to look at my specific trial with joy?” I understand- this was my question once.

Understanding this truth is the turning point necessary to overcome and move forward. As we understand trails test our faith- character builds within. We move forward towards maturing in Christ. Perseverance is a strong word. It’s easy to give up. I sense many people want to give up. Trials force us into change. Change is not always easy. However, within God’s plans for our lives, we become mature and complete. We’ll never become mature and complete if we give up. Exactly what the enemy wants. Satan knows if we reach maturity and completeness in Christ, we will not lack anything.

Who is with me today? Are you ready to face trials with new light? A light shining so bright on your path, you’ll avoid detours. Perseverance will finish its work. We will be mature and complete, not lacking anything. One, two, three…shout AMEN!  Along with this scripture, I’ve added this song. Both became meaningful turning points when my refining fire became the hottest.

Be encouraged!

Thank you dear Vicky for always touching my heart. A hearty amen to change coming from trials. The Lord has said, “I am the Lord. I change not.” So… if He doesn’t change the only remaining option is myself.
    I love you,
