Awareness Opens Eyes to Deception- Caution!

Awareness Opens Eyes to Deception- Caution!Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. (Isaiah 55:6-8 NIV)

Tunnels

Motivating Monday! Bend and stretch, touch your toes to your nose. Ok, not the last part. Let’s stretch to believe beyond where our thoughts stand today. Tunnel vision blocks awareness. Driving through tunnels stir excitement. Until a five mile tunnel, excitement fades fast. More confined we feel, more tense further we drive. Such is life.

Curve balls

Those who seek the Lord, find Him. More we seek, more awareness we gain. Yesterday was spent down memory lane. Wonderful to see family and friends from my childhood church’s homecoming. Remembering those passed on before us and seeds they planted. My thoughts halt concerning those from childhood no longer in church. What differs between those who leave church and those who continue? Life does throw curve balls. We think path is straight and immediately we’re sunk. Satan immediately blast options. All to confirm brewed feelings. He leads evil thoughts to wicked actions. However, walking away from those actions, turn to God- He will have mercy and freely pardon.

Awareness

Once a match is lit- we act quickly. Failing to light object, we blow out or get burned. Therefore, making connection to God’s Word is vital to develop a relationship with Christ. Awareness opens our eyes to deception. Allowing us to continue seeking Jesus. His thoughts are beyond our mind’s imagination. His ways are not our ways. His Word promises- He knows the plans He’s made for us. They are plans to prosper and not harm; to give us hope and a future. We have to join God’s plans in order to reap His blessings. Therefore, needing to expand our thoughts to understand. Ok! 1-2-3 exercise!
