Straight Paths, Scripture, Faith, and You

Straight Paths, Scripture, Faith, and YouLet us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 NIV)

Edits

Perfecting faith is not instant gratification. Authors know first edits will not be final edits. As Jesus is the author of our faith- He defines faith. Romans 10:17 states faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ. Scripture is key to growing our faith. How?

Scripture

Scripture learned empowers our ability to stand against the enemy’s schemes. We learn to discern between good and evil. Scripture expands knowledge, therefore, replacing how we react to arrows thrown to harm. I will never forget early on my desire to fight making it right. God equipped me with words, yet I had to learn to use wisely. Wisdom only came through learning scripture, increased faith.

Straight paths

God desires straight paths for His children. Best gifts come from Him. Sitting at the right hand of God’s throne, brings Jesus great joy interceding on our behalf. Jesus endured the cross for you and me. We who believe Jesus died on the cross, confess with our mouths- Jesus is our Savior, step into the greatest journey ever.

Faith

Scripture expedites our ability to remove distractions and increase faith. Finding a Scripture based church and joining a great Bible study- shout out to BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) are a must. Yesterday morning, I was like- be still my heart. Thrilled to hear powerful truth through our pastor’s message. This is a vital part of our journey. Whatever we endure refining- remember edits bring perfection. Our straight paths await. Are you ready for straight paths? It’s Motivating Monday! Let’s pray Biblical knowledge increases and paths become straight. Straight into God’s perfect plans for 2015!

Be encouraged!
