Bitterness Packs Heaviness Vs. Love Allows Freedom

Bitterness Packs Heaviness Vs. Love Allows Freedom“But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (Luke 6:27,28 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

Motivating Monday! Do you think when I pointed to driver ahead of me making poor jesters, he understood my point, praying hands, and pointing up as love? Road rage in itself can stir unpleasant behaviors. Bitterness between friends and family will cause hurt feelings preventing love as an option.

Bitterness

Sometimes bitterness settles in for unknown reasons to opposite party. Life runs various speeds for every individual. Whatever is harbored in hearts began as negative thoughts in mind. The enemy presses negative thoughts down into hearts like measuring brown sugar- press down, add emotion, press down further fueled by more emotion till cup is completely packed full. Imagine how heavy hearts feel when burdened with bitterness.

Making A Difference

As Christians, scripture states to love those who hate, curse, and mistreat us. Why? Because we are called to make a difference in this world. The world can love those who love them. They are good to those who are good to them. They will lend when payment is expected back. However, it is only strength gained through Christ giving us power to react in love. This is a key turning point in gaining spiritual maturity.

Life

As worldly thoughts change over to more Christ minded, bitterness has no hold. Consider pureness- white, free, flowing. Opposite is like a filter catching layer of filth, becoming easier to catch more till clogged. Therefore, freeing our minds replacing bitterness with love, hearts remain pure. Allowing positive actions and reactions to flow. God is merciful and desires the same for us. Let’s be motivated to show the world a different side to life.

Be encouraged!
