Forward Friday! Moving from- momma said there would be days like this to joy unspeakable and full of glory. We have days like momma said- it’s called life. How we function in life depends on foundation we build. When storms of life threaten, how well to do we stand?
Understanding
Satan’s lie easiest to trick makes one think the Bible is hard to understand. In church all my young life, I did not become serious about reading my Bible until after college. I became determined, can remember vividly. I asked God to help me understand scripture, He was faithful. I was amazed most of our childhood Bible stories came from Genesis. Connection made to strengthen foundation in Jesus Christ.
Foundation
Foundation in Jesus Christ, is the stability to withstand life situations. I never would have thought my mother would die of ALS when I was 17. Foundation at that time was shaken. As we become a christian, frame work is formed. As we grow in maturity, cement thickens. God’s consistent in our lives. He is always the same- yesterday, today, and forever. Satan in limited power attempts to kill, steal, and destroy. Satan succeeds when foundations are not set.
Experiences
Experiences prove God is faithful. Many of you agree with God’s faithfulness. For those having trouble with these thoughts, I ask you to trust. Open your Bible and ask Jesus to help you understand. Begin with Genesis 1. You’ll be amazed! More Biblical knowledge gained and applied, stronger cement solidifies.
