Believing: Softening Hearts to Understand

Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so they would not be put out of the synagogue, for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory of comes from God. (John 12:42,43 ESV)

Irrelevant? 

Anyone consider The Bible irrelevant for today? All truth being revealed in the last few days- God is honoring our prayers. Light is shining on darkness. Corruption is being revealed in democrats, established republicans, and media. Wikileaks was once loved by democrats, unbeknown to them Julian Assange and associates allegedly hacked into coveted emails documenting HRC’s detailed assaults against America. These can be googled and read. However, how many will remain blinded and keep hearts hardened to truth?

Believing 

Jesus had performed miraculous signs, however, Jews would not believe. They still do not believe Jesus is the Messiah. Although, they were present for many miracles, they were more concerned about their placement in the synagogue and feared the Pharisees. What if one of these individual stepped out and believed? He might have been able to change course in history.

Similarities in these two situations:

• People base decisions for societal acceptance.
• People allow fear to keep them from confessing truth.
• People seek praise from men, not from God.

Truth

Many are believing truth exposed, how many will vote accordingly. I’ve been asked why I can’t be quiet like others voting for Trump. This aligns with my calling, to help people not be deceived. We do not want people blinded from truth. Societal confusion keeps worsening as light shines brighter on darkness. Are we believing what is true or manipulated by media? Now is the time to be informed. People perish for lack of knowledge. Let’s spend time seeking Jesus, trusting his response to our prayers. God’s glory will always trump men’s glory.
