Societal Confusion: No Joke, Take Serious

Societal Confusion

I lift my eyes up, my help comes from the Lord. Kristian Stanfill sings this amazing song, “Always.” Societal confusion is a term I’ve used since forming this ministry. When I began it was bringing awareness, now I sense deception has been unleashed to the point, wrong will be right and right will be wrong seems to be an understatement. How are we to function in such a mess? It seems anyone standing strong against wrong is targeted. A relationship with Jesus is vital and timely for understanding during societal confusion.

The Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1 is best understood establishing basis for Jesus and his relationship with God. Jesus is life, and this life is the light of men. Darker the world becomes, greater Jesus’ light will shine. As God’s light shines more- agents of darkness scheme harder to remain hidden. Through these schemes, most of the time, deceptive attacks bounce back on the innocent, attempting to discredit sources of truth.

Helper

The Bible says- God is our helper, refuge in time of need. When trust on many levels in our country is shaky, trusting people/government is not easy. The big debate if The President had Congress’ approvals to strike Syria- who really trusts Congress to not sabotage our president/country well being. In local news a sheriff who has made more drug arrests than any other, now has landed in jail. Just like this…closer to breaking corruption, greater attack on truth. Where do we seek help? We lift our eyes up to the Lord.

Moving Forward!

Forward Friday! Societal confusion is no joke. More marred down we become, less likely to desire truth. Let’s move forward seeking Jesus daily, praying for God’s light to shine on all darkness. During societal confusion, have confidence in knowing a relationship with Jesus, Maker of Heaven and earth, seals the deal. He is our helper- clarity will come. Let’s keep seeking Jesus.
