Unexpected Light, Overwhelming Darkness

What is Satan trying to keep you or someone you know bound in?  Satan likes to play harsh.  He spins a large sticky web to catch all the victims he can. Many times we are blinded walking into the web.  A trap designed by Satan.  One step in and we could be stuck, wrapped in darkness.  Have you ever seen an insect caught in a spider’s web? The sole purpose of the insect is to be devoured by the spider.  Satan wants to devour as many as he can.  This web is going to be like glue, very hard to move.

The enemy is speaking lies to you every second you are in captivity.  With every step towards freedom, we only get pulled backwards.  Eventually, all energy is drained leaving no effort to escape.  Have you ever felt this way?

I have great news for you! Our escape is not done by our own strength! We have the power of the Holy Spirit working within us.  We are a child of the most High! Jesus has his hand reached out saying here, take hold! The will -power begins to build within us. The enemy panting louder in an attempt to keep us bound.  In a split second a voice sounding like a faint whisper captures your attention.  You recognize the voice of Jesus.  You see a glimpse of light. We have to reach for His hand.The enemy slaps your hand away.  Our mind says, Yes, I think I can touch.  The light begins to shine brighter.  Before you realize, you will be standing! Thank you Jesus! When a person makes up their mind to reach out and take hold of Jesus’s hand, then this is when God’s power takes over.

Now is the time to get into the word of God, the Bible.  The full victory is not when you get out of the web.  The full victory comes when you have the foundation not to step back into the web! Then you will look back and say…Amazing! Light illuminates!!! Jesus is our answer; He is our source-our strength to step out from any darkness.  This can be the day all bondages are broken!

Dear Jesus, I pray right now over each reader attempting to step out of their very own web.  Give them the strength to try one more time, denouncing the lies of Satan, hearing your amazing voice in a whisper.  Allow courage to build.  Jesus, you are faithful to meet our every need.  Send the appropriate help each one needs.
