Angels: We Entertain Angels Without Knowing

Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13: 1,2 NIV)

Faith

Hebrews is action packed. If you ever need encouragement, chapter 11 will build your faith. Honestly, we come face to face with many situations to share our faith, we need to be prepared. To encourage ourselves as well as encourage others who do not believe our God is the one and only true God. I love coming together with all Christian faiths as this gives us a glimpse of what heaven will be like. You never know when we may cross paths with angels.

Angels? 

Begin to look around when you are in public places. We have reason to be cautious. Satan loves to taunt truth and cause fear toward strangers. Become more intuitive to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts on how to react to strangers. Have you ever felt a strong urge to buy a sandwich or a cup of coffee for someone you do not know? This will be fun to become aware of our surroundings and listen to our inner spirit man to take action that could possibly entertain angels.

Love

We are to love each other as brothers and sisters. With our Biblical definition of love from Wednesday, we identifed a way to overcome when the world rejects us. Jesus reminded us Monday, the world rejected him first. With these two earlier blogs this week, I wanted to go light today. I pray you will continue to ponder all three blogs. They are detrimental to our spiritual growth towards maturity.

Believe 

It’s Forward Friday! Let’s move forward with our inner being full of love to entertain strangers that might be angels! As the world rejects, God opens an amazing opportunity to be sober in Christ to enjoy all He offers to those who believe. Once you have experienced the Lord’s goodness, you will desire to know Him more.
