Saved: Everyone…Calling On Jesus’s Name

Saved: Everyone...Calling On Jesus's NameAnd everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Acts 2:21 NIV)

Everyone

God promises through the prophet Joel- restated by Peter on the day of Pentecost that in the last days…God will pour out His spirit on all people. During this time, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Enemy Vs. Anointing

As the enemy continues to take underlying measures weakening God’s church and keeping potential believers at bay- we have to become more diligent in our Christian walk. Taking bold stands of faith may not be for everyone, yet, may be called to do so. Who would have thought Peter was anointed to speak to the crowed that day, where about 3,000 were saved? Yet, God prepared him for such a time. We will be prepared.

Saved

Being saved is not a bad thing. We’re saved from lots of various situations. We love to give credit to bells. How many times have we said- saved by the bell. Being saved from an eternity in fire and brimstone takes new meaning. Only accepting Jesus Christ and the message of salvation will secure Heaven, keeping us from hell.

Distraction

As our top administration loves to distract people of America with civic and racial conflict- serious measures are taken against the majority. During societal confusion, if we keep our eyes on Jesus…we will see God’s Spirit pouring out.

Wisdom

We’ve recently experienced blood moons. John Hagee has a book titled- Four Blood Moons. I think wise for us to read. From prophesies, dreams, and visions to miracles, signs, and wonder…these will take place while the enemy builds societal confusion.

Avoiding Deception

How best to avoid being deceived?

  • Accept Jesus as Savior.
  • Believe He died and rose again on the 3rd day.
  • Confess Jesus as Lord. .
  • Keep eyes on Jesus. Removing distractions.
  • Bible Study. Ask The Holy Spirit to help us understand.
  • Be watchful. Scripture states there will be false teachers.
  • Pray for discernment. Opened eyes- stay calm and pray, can be overwhelming.
  • Pray for softened hearts. Only softened hearts can understand.

Promises

Dear friend, it’s always easier said than done. Each of these steps require diligent effort, taking up our cross and following Christ. He promises to be our shield/rear guard and so much more. We need this more than ever. He’s willing- am I?

Be encouraged!
