These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 2:10,11 ESV)

Motivating Monday! Woot! Woot! Here we go…first week of the year! “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who him.” 1 Corinthians 2 is full of wisdom to help us understand how God’s Spirit works through Spiritual Truth and discernment. Amazing to note…It’s the same Spirit living in us once we accept God’s gift of salvation.
God’s Spirit
Unfortunately, God’s Spirit in us is ignored all too often. And…the nerve of a person who seeks to understand God’s Spirit. Societal confusion starts within the church. If all attending church lived to learn more about God’s Spirit- lives would be transformed, churches transformed- our world transformed. As it is…we keep trickling on a downward slope blurring truth and justifying sin.
Key
A deeper understanding of God’s Spirit- we grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Identifying spiritual gifts is key to living out our destiny. Complacency places us in ruts before we know, delaying our ultimate purpose fulfilled. I’ve become so comfortable blogging three times each week, complacency may be the culprit for delaying the book I’m to write. I can be the worst dragging my feet. With leaps of faith, we have to land on our feet ready to run. The enemy will attempt every trick to distract. Today, I draw the line on the enemy’s distractions. Who wants to join me?

Ready for an amazing start to 2016? Let’s be motivated to learn more about God’s Spirit. This will help in understanding Biblical Truth. No time for ruts- we have societal confusion to clear. This my friends will reflect much needed light in a dimming world. Let’s make it happen- with God all things are possible.
