Friends? Laying Down His Life…Greater Love

Friends? Laying Down His Life...Greater LoveGreater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. (John 15:13, 14 ESV)

Forward Friday!

If I was a betting person, and I am not…I would never gamble with my Spiritual journey. Many find items to worship, yet, fail to take Jesus serious. Yes, He has forgiven a thief on the cross- we’ll see him in Heaven. Yes, Jesus healed people with no faith…yet, would I wait to be one of them. Healing I will always want, thinking I am a lucky one if Karma’s on my side today, too much of a gamble. I want to be Jesus’ friend. How about you?

Jesus- a friend? Yes. He desires to be friends with you, too. There is a simple way to make this happen…follow Jesus’ commands. Jesus laid down His life, willing to be the sacrifice, all that we have the ability through Jesus to live eternally with Him. While on earth, grow in Spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Seek Jesus, He promises all who seek Him, will find Him. During all this growth, we gain the most faithful friend. He promises to never leave nor forsake us. He’s our protector, healer, Great Physician.

Ultimate Sac…

As Jesus gave His life as the ultimate sacrifice, He promised to send us The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives within each of us…making greater impacts for God’s Kingdom. Jesus, one man, could only be in one place at one time. Now, every person accepting Jesus as Savior, has been gifted The Holy Spirit. Depending on how much we acknowledge His presence, determines how helpful He can be. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Spirit of Truth, Counselor, and third part of The Trinity.

Moving Forward!

God, Our Father- creator of Heaven and Earth, is sovereignty over all circumstances. Take a gift like The Holy Spirit, and a friend, Jesus Christ…we are building quite the team. Time to move forward! If…we do what Jesus commands us to do, which includes…Holiness, the world changes and becomes more like Heaven on earth. I’m thankful…How about you?

Be encouraged!
