Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. (Psalm 90:1,2 NIV)
When Scripture is underlined in our Bibles, I believe they are meant to remind or catch our attention for such a time. Beside today’s Scripture, I wrote…Always God. God has always been- before all creation, God was here. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Sorry, the big bang theory is refuted here; Scripture states in verse 2, the earth was formless and empty.
When many are seeing signs of the end, we will do well to remember and solidify what we believe to be true. Culture influences many beliefs. We see this in various areas of our country or even around the world. When individuals move from one area to another- especially with high school graduates moving to college. This is reason to take college selections very serious- with much prayer and fasting. Many leave solid foundations in Christ behind, finding we can be shaken from stability in Christ, fairly quick.
Therefore, we need to be intentional guarding Biblical Truth within- hopefully, a great amount stored over the years. I hope you have been encouraged this weekend. We attended church and had a wonderful sermon from Mark, concerning Jesus’ death on the cross. Then listened to Jentezen Franklin’s sermon- faith over fear. Yet, he brought many foundational Scriptures to grasp. This is an evil attack- “Vengeance is mine,” says, The Lord. God will deal with those responsible, creating such a deadly virus. Just like with anyone- individuals attempt to hide truth, God sees all. He knows all.
Everlasting to everlasting…God is here. Not false gods- the one, true God, Christ Jesus, and The Holy Spirit- three in One. He has been our dwelling place throughout all generations…place trust in Him. God’s dwelling place is where power, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, revelation, and destiny is released…all meant for purposes and to help others, as we bring glory back to God. The Lord has been, and will always be our dwelling place. Hope He is yours, too!
