Immeasurable Greatness of God’s Power…Ready to Exert?

Immeasurable Greatness of God's Power...Ready to Exert?-having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might. (Ephesians 1:18, 19 ESV)

Motivating Monday!

Motivation is vital right now as many face hardships from hurricanes, flooding, and fires. God will protect His children. And…if His children will exert knowledge we have available in God’s Word, I believe any storm can be rebuked in Jesus’ name. Many have been reminded Jesus slept through a storm, the disciples thought they were going to die. After being awakened and questioning their faith, He rebuked the winds and waves and all became completely calm.

Immeasurable

The same power Jesus exerted to calm that major storm, is within every believer. Yes, this immeasurable greatness of Jesus’ power is available to us who believe- through the workings of His great might. Wow! And they call being a Christian lame. Here is a challenge for every believer- being a believer is not really enough- because even in the Bible we learn, the demons believed in Jesus. We can believe and lack knowledge to know the immeasurable greatness of God’s power. All because we do not study God’s Word for ourselves. Reminded in yesterday’s sermon, every denomination comes from a heritage, believing as they do. By denominations- I am stating ones that believe in the same God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. What happens, focus can be so strong in one area, other truths are bypassed or dismissed. (because they have never been taught…)

Greater Faith

As I type, storms are fierce sweeping over most of Florida. Lord, we pray right now, exerting immeasurable greatness of your power, we rebuke the winds and waves of Hurricane Irma- we ask you to completely calm this storm; place supernatural barriers around your children’s homes, no water will enter and all will be amazed. We are not people of ‘little faith’, we have greater faith exerting God’s power, expecting supernatural protection around every believer and their homes. All in Jesus’ name we ask and pray, Amen.

Be encouraged!
