Conquerors Through Christ

Conquerors Through ChristAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NIV)

Back to Basics 101

Reminded of this verse, I was taken back to when scripture took on a greater meaning for me. As a little girl, I am sure between Ms. Maggie and Ms. Jeana, I was taught scripture and earned gold stars for memorization. We learned about Jesus, Moses, and Jonah. When Romans 8:28 came alive within me, a new maturity level was reached. It’s when milk sipping stops and meat is introduced. As long as we have a yielding spirit to learn more, we all will reach this transition and beyond.

Romans 8

I encourage you to study Romans 8. If you need clarity, God will be faithful to help all understand. Here is a glimpse.

  • God did not spare His own son. He gave Him up for us all.
  • God justifies.
  • Jesus Christ was raised to life on the third day.
  • Jesus now sits on the right hand of God, interceding for us.
  • No situation can separate us from the love of Christ.
  • In all things, we are more than conquerors through Christ, who loves us.

Oh my goodness! Do you feel excitement rise in you right now? God did this for me? He did this for you and me. Incredible. Salvation is for every human breathing right now from one side of the world to the other. Dear friends all around the world, God loves you. He sacrificed His one and only son, Jesus, to cover our sins. When we ask for forgiveness, Jesus forgives and tells us to sin no more. Jesus intercedes for us. Powerful.

More than conquerors

If God is for us, who can be against us? Truth? There will be people. However, as we fill ourselves full of Biblical knowledge, the Holy Spirit, and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus, we will rise above any situation headed our direction. In all situations, we are more than conquerors through Christ, who loves us. God will work for our good, those who love Him, according to His purpose. Not our purpose, God’s purpose. This may be the disconnect for many people. Remember when we sip milk, we think like a child. We mature as we transition into meats. During this process, we morph into the person God destined in us. Are you ready?

Be encouraged!
