Churches Need For Truth

“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43: 10,11 NIV)

Foolishness?

Why do we have to watch such foolishness take place in our nation? How can so many be blind to the truth?(I hope to answer Friday.) A 2009 Barna Group statistic found 45% of Christians do not believe the Bible as accurate. I would guess this number to be larger today. Have you noticed, there is not as large of a group leaving the church as what we may think? The old saying, birds of feathers flock together is coming to mind. Churches are being transformed and established to affirm the sinner. Satan is having a field day. He appears to be winning the white, red, and blue ribbons.

Churches/conflict?

As Christian churches deal with inner conflict, Satan has eased his way in to distort the true purpose of the church. As congregations try to change with the times, the Word of God has been weakened. I am not saying all churches, I think the likability may be many. As with anything, when you give in just a little, little becomes much real quick. The little you give into sinful situations, the more caught up in sin you will be. The more sin, the more you look for people to justify and before you know become part of a group who validates your sin as permissible.

God watches

All along the way, God watches the choices we make. We, who claim to be Christians, are suppose to be God’s witnesses. How can we be a witness if we do not believe and live by the Word of God? His churches become less Christ focused and more self-focused. As we evaluate risk factors in the church, we must check the condition of the church. Churches will not believe the same about the Word of God. Those who believe in the Bible, let’s get real. Are you ready to become bold for Christ? Does the world see you as a true believer or one back and forth? Why do we have to watch foolishness? For such a time as this…we are all called to this time. This race is not over. We already know the winner! Jesus defeated satan on the cross. What is there not to understand about the true identity of God, our Father?
