Wickedness Exposed: Delusions and Lies

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs, and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2: 9,10 NIV)

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2: 11,12 NIV)

Truth

Earlier this Summer, we examined verses 9 and 10. My eyes widened and I sat up straight when I read verses 11 and 12. We do not want any blurred vision as we study these verses. As we re-read verses 9 and 10, we have clarity for reason God would send a powerful delusion so people will believe a lie. This is for all individuals who are unwilling to believe the truth. For individuals who delight in wickedness, they will be condemned. This would be those blind to truth. Go to google, type in wickedness scripture, and pick a sight for scripture on wickedness. We have to seek the scripture to understand. The world no longer teaches right from wrong. They teach the right is wrong and the left is right. Confusing? Satan’s goal being achieved.

Recommendations

People make recommendations all the time. We suggest movies to see, places to dine, and trips to take. However, make a comment or suggestion concerning God and have instant tension. I think how angered Bill Maher appears to me anytime he rants against Christ. What happened in his childhood to create a heart of wickedness that repels Christ’s love, mercy and grace? He represents many more like him.

Believe 

Jesus died on the cross for each and everyone of us. All sin has been covered on the cross. We can walk around in hate like Bill Maher or walk in the love of Christ? It takes us to step forward. Admit we are a sinner, ask for forgiveness. Believe in Jesus, He rose on the third day. Confess Jesus is Lord and Savior of your life. Three simple steps to turn your life around in the direction of the cross. Salvation is an amazing gift. Being caught in a powerful delusion to believe a lie is the path to condemnation and if no repentance death. Death in hell vs Eternal life in Heaven? Is wickedness worth a forfeit to eternity in Heaven? Be sure to know how God defines wickedness. Our time grows short, eternity is forever. It’s Forward Friday!
