Reflection

Please join me in reflection today. Ask the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, to reveal where you stand with each of these qualities. He may say…well done in #1, however, #6 needs work and this is our plan. God is faithful. Those who seek the Lord, will find Him.

Measure

We are to increase measure in each one. Should someone not practice these, the following verse describes this person as blind and nearsighted, and has forgotten their past sins were cleansed. God’s mercies are new every morning. We are flesh and sometimes it seems we run out of mercy and grace quick. However, increasing each of these qualities, will ensure we give grace, grace, grace.

Knowledge

These qualities will keep us from being ineffective and unproductive in our knowledge of Jesus Christ. Knowledge from the Bible is truth. It is power. The more knowledge we gain and are familiar with, the stronger our walk in each quality. See, satan’s goal is to distort this truth. He confuses and distracts to blur the path God provided.

Forward Friday

Therefore, spend time in prayer. Evaluate where you are in the process of refinement. Consider how discipline makes us stronger. All scripture is God-breathed and trains us for every good work. Scripture continues in verse 10, be eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall. Praise God!

This is my prayer for each of us today, may we grasp the depth in each of these qualities as we move forth in the plans God has known for each of us since we were in our mother’s womb. It’s Forward Friday! Let’s move forward practicing each of these qualities so we will never fall. In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen.

Be encouraged!
