Stages of Deception Revealed Through Bible

All these are beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. (Matthew 24:8,9 NIV)

Danger

Have you had someone to divert you from danger? As a little girl I loved to attend farm duties with my dad. One day we walked through a field checking cattle with my uncle. My uncle must have eagle’s eyes. Within a split second he lifted me over a snake. Yes, I was about to step on a snake. In the same intensity my uncle had in protecting me, I want to protect each one of you. You may think, “Vicki…why on earth do I need protection?” We need to become aware of deception during these critical times. Interesting signs to watch for are broken into stages.

Beginning birth pains:

• Many will come in the name Jesus, claiming to be Christ.
• We will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
• Nation will rise against nation.
• Kingdom against Kingdom.
• Famines in various places.
• Earthquakes in various places.

Then:

• Individuals will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death.
• We will be hated by all nations because of Jesus.
• Many will turn away from faith…will betray and hate each other.
• Many false prophets will appear.
• Many will be deceived.
• Increase in wickedness.
• Love of most will grow cold.

However:

• Anyone to stand firm until the end will be saved.
• The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world.
• This will be a true testimony to all nations.
• The end will come.

Stages

Earlier in Chapter 24, we are urged to watch out that no one deceives you. How? We grow our Word knowledge to discern between good and evil, truth and lies. Gaining knowledge of the signs of the times, we have to decide to stand firm on Biblical beliefs.The gospel of the Kingdom will be preached all over the world. Stages of end times are provided for preparation time, not to fear. Pray and see how God will have you prepare.
