Denying God: A Political Correctness Approach

Denying Christ: A Political Correctness ApproachWhoever acknowledges me(Jesus) before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. (Matthew 10:32,33 NIV)

Denying God

Serious concern continues to build in our country. If BDS Movement is googled, we find a global movement campaining boycotts, divestments, and sanctions against Israel. They desire international law and Palestinian rights. Yes, we’ve had anti- groups circling for years around the globe. Their efforts seem intensified and gaining ground. Seems like tug of war between Christians and Non-believers with more defining their own beliefs fitting in the middle. One particular denomination appears to have joined this initiative and denying God by denying His Word. John 1:1,2 explains in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Denying God’s Word

Denying God’s Word is denying God. When scripture is changed to justify desire finding sin acceptable, the world celebrates. The Holy Spirit grieves. The Holy Spirit- spirit of truth, teacher, counselor, and helper completes the Trinity. He understands destiny of those who change scripture. There were 303 leaders in this particular denomination who voted for truth, 310 chose to join the BDS movement. Now churches will have to decide who to support. Those who desire to be in the middle are neither hot nor cold, they are found lukewarm. The problem with this…Jesus finds those lukewarm repulsive. In Revelation 3:15,16 we’re informed lukewarm are spewed out.

Awareness

It’s Motivating Monday! I realize this is not my peppy Monday morning beat. We need motivation to become aware of current circumstances affecting our country. Deception creeps into our churches, then roars to take over. Confused believers baffled by fellow brothers and sisters denying truth. Freedom many of our brothers and sisters around the world now experience is threatened in our own country. What can we do? Pray, seek God, be obedient- most of all- don’t deny God. His Word is true, denying God before men, Jesus will deny you before God. Will you join me to pray? Pray for our country, those deceived, those who are weak- the enemy lurking to devour. There is power in unity.

Be encouraged!
