Need? Needs? Concerns? I know A Man Who Can

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. (Luke 4:14,15 NIV)

Blood pumping!

Motivating Monday! Ready to get our blood pumping? Here’s a word for today. From those needing more rest to more serious matters with health and finances? Concern for brothers and sisters in Christ crucified under persecution. Possible new seasons of life at hand with all trust and faith levels to expand. Every need and concern can be trusted to one man. I know a man- who can.

Are we willing?

Someone hear me loud and clear- there is a man who can. Whatever your need…His name is Jesus. There is no pit deep enough and no mountain so high that Jesus Christ’s hand cannot stretch. He is willing- are we willing to grab hold. It was Sabbath day, Jesus returning to Nazareth, entered the synagogue. He read from a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. Jesus recited:

• “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
• because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
• He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
• and recovery of sight for the blind,
• to release the oppressed,
• to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Scripture fulfilled

Jesus rolled the scroll up, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. He began speaking to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” The foundation was set then for our time now. The words- I know a man who can- resounded through me all yesterday. Praying for all hearts this is speaking to, mine included. Where would many of us be without Jesus. His Word is true, He is faithful.

Need?

What is your need today? Finances? Freedom from addictions? Eyes needing open to see- physically and spiritually? Those battling depression so long it’s turned into oppression? Bodies battling illnesses? Jesus is my dearest friend. I know he is a dear friend to many of you. In case, those who do not consider him a friend at all, He loves you. The enemy has told many lies. Don’t chance rolling the dice, accept Jesus can today. Jesus- faithful friend now through eternity.
