Deception: Aiming Straight Into Bullseye

Deception: Aiming Straight Into BullseyeBe self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of suffering. (1 Peter 5:8,9 NIV)

Hope

Even though hope is refreshed among majority, entire political map underlies critical problems. Additional states legalizing marijuana. Federal judges dismiss state’s majority vote defining marriage. Liberal bullies rally against Biblical Truth. Christians being killed around the world. We need hope. Real hope only Jesus Christ can offer.

Deception

Deception creeps into our society, with churches as a bullseye. Denominations divide splitting compromise and commitment to God’s Word. Believers are torn which way to go. For those who keep a commitment will be led on clear paths. The Word will continue to be a lamp for our feet and a light for our path. (Psalm 119:105)

Ice Cracks

We have no reason to fear. It’s easy to feel friction as ice cracks. Reason enough to secure solid foundations. Be concerned about one’s soul and not one’s status. All truth I speak in love. Deception makes bold gains as many are blinded by wrong definition of love. Christ’s definition speaks truth in love. We must be careful not to defend love as accepting sin, becoming aware of our own hearts. We’re not here to judge. We are here to help others not be deceived.

Moving Forward

Forward Friday! Moving forward seeking divine intervention, developing meaningful friendship with Jesus, and helping our brothers and sisters in Christ from stumbling. Churches are critical beacons of light. Every intricate part of the Body of Christ needs engaged illuminating light, becoming aware of deception. Deception cannot be allowed to block souls from Christ. Jesus needs us, a lost world needs us. Can I get a witness? Are you ready to step up for this challenge?
