Fruit: Recognizing Good Trees Vs. Bad Trees

Fruit: Recognizing Good Trees Vs. Bad TreesMake a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. (Matthew 12:33 NIV)

Knowledge

Nature experts hold knowledge on characteristics of trees. Not all trees produce edible fruit. Some even contain poison. If we had to survive in nature only, it would be pertinent information to know. Thankfully, guides are available to help those eager without much knowledge. In the same way, I want to help be a guide for spiritual journeys.

Fruit

Standing at bottom of a mountain looks overwhelming to reach top. Going this alone- detour signs trick, insults bruise, false agents attempt to infuse false information. All kinds of problems can occur. We all have one thing in common- we start our spiritual journey with a prayer of salvation. Moments after paths divert. Those willing to drop heavy loads off at the cross, become free sooner. Connecting to good trees will teach us to produce good fruit. The bad tree attempts to draw each one- continuing to sin stalls spiritual growth.

Nudges

Yes, you are right- no one is perfect, except Jesus. We all sin- difference is recognizing The Holy Spirit’s nudges helping us shed sin. It’s like peeling off layers of an onion. Tears will be shed along the way. When we really connect with salvation- a new spring begins flowing through us. It’s easy to turn off and hit droughts. However, more we study scripture, spend time in prayer, and fellowship with believers, our lives transform into new creations.

Wish

If I was granted one wish in this world…I want everyone to cheer for others. Too much bad fruit is seen reacting to other’s success. I love words in this song below. God put a million doors in this world to walk through- one of them may be you. Can God trust us to be this open door? This is definitely something tugging on my heart. Am I nice? Do I show kindness? Am I genuinely happy for other’s success? Is my fruit good or bad? We are recognized by our fruit. This is a process- more we work on this, stronger we become as we spend less time soured with bad fruit.

May you be blessed in all you do. May this blog fall into hands around the world. Someone needs a guide, they first must walk through an open door.

Be encouraged!
