Strength
Motivating Monday! As much as I want to dive into warnings concerning our country, this blog equips and encourages individuals through spiritual strength to handle days ahead. Todd Starnes, Fox News Analyst, is excellent noting government concerns. Wisdom is foundational in building spiritual strength.
Understanding
The book known for wisdom is Proverbs. Acknowledging Jesus as Savior, allows understanding. The beginning of wisdom starts with understanding fear of the Lord. It has more to do with reverence and respect. When our worlds seem to lose control- people change, careers change, marriage, kids, finances can all change. Jesus never changes.
Help!
Before allowing disappointment to turn into a tailspin- because we can land in despair, thinking we hit quicksand. Then scream for our lives seeking help. All this can be avoided by keeping our eyes on Jesus. Meaning when thoughts come rushing with angst- we take captive those thoughts and turn thought towards Jesus. As we learn scripture- His promises, provisions, and perimeters, the Holy Spirit will engage surfacing exact scripture as we need.
Wisdom
God’s wisdom has been ready for us since before time began. Will he keep wisdom from us when we ask- no way! Scripture says- we just have to ask. Ask God to fill us full of wisdom. As He does, we accept and move forward wisely. We’ll know by the stir in our hearts, thoughts springing forth. It’s like leaning in with expectancy.
Motivated?
If individuals had more understanding, they would not reject Jesus. The world’s wisdom is purposed for individuals to lack understanding and reject Jesus. Therefore, which wisdom do we want? By choosing Jesus, we choose life, gaining God’s wisdom. Motivating enough for me! Jesus is my choice. How about you?
