“All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.” (Isaiah 66:2 ESV)
Funny last night’s elementary concert focused on past advertisements. A statement made how they stay in your mind, even till the next morning, is true. I’m still humming…you can be a pepper, too. If you were alive and well in the 80’s, this show was for you. For me, the word humble has stuck all week as I’ve kept a song from last Sunday’s service running through my mind. Words resounding…I do not have the answer, But this I know with all my heart, His wounds paid my ransom.
Songs like, How Deep The Father’s Love For us, humbles a heart quickly. We are the ones with such great rewards, when Jesus paid it all, an ultimate sin offering. Trembling at God’s Word, is far removed from many minds. Scripture states even demons tremble when it comes to Jesus. I’ve always found this astounding. Demons seem to understand more than many claiming Christianity. Going against scripture, is playing with fire. If never returning to Biblical Truth, playing with fire is over in hell. Individuals in this situation will agonize with fire for eternity.
All things God made, came to be. He is looking for humble and repenting individuals to stand for Biblical Truth. It’s hard to promote something we’ve never experienced. Once we have experienced, strong voices surface. How I wish every church has Biblical Truth being taught, just not the case. If there is a tug on your heart, please yield and find a trusted friend. A friend you know will lead you to Biblical truth. This friend will lead you to a great church.
Whatever is heavy on hearts, this is Forward Friday. Let’s move forward humbling ourselves before The Lord, praying with renewed faith. While praying, pray for those to turn from roads of destruction. God is ready to turn around every situation, to be used to help others find hope. We can do all things through Christ who strengthen us. With God’s strength, we overcome. Please listen, a powerful song. Love Joy William’s version.
