Spiritual CPR Necessary To Awaken Hearts

Spiritual CPR Necessary To Awaken HeartsAs for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. (Psalm 18:30-32 NIV)

Forward!

Moving forward takes commitment and determination. King David knew spiritual praise. God’s way is perfect. His word is flawless. He is a shield for those taking refuge in Him. He gives us strength and makes our way perfect. This almost sounds too good to be true. Thankfully, it is true.

Perfection

When God offers perfection, why do we humans find reasons to reject His offer? There’s a bundle of reasons satan persuades us to accept. More than ever we see contradictions to God’s Word tilted enough to lure more into deception. Satan was Lucifer, one of God’s former arch-angels. A high ranking spiritual angel. Demons know truth, they tremble in Jesus’s presence. Mass wave of believers fight to justify sin. And…we wonder what has happened.

Spiritual CPR

As much as I wanted God’s will, I wanted my way. I wanted what felt good to me. It seemed nothing felt good. Besides my hunk of a husband, all else seemed contrite. The day arrived, first round of singing left me stunned. Next round, words…Lord, to give up, I’d be a fool, punched right to my heart, like spiritual CPR. Pity party over and soon completed Beth Moore’s Breaking Free Study. God’s perfect timing. This study is one of the best tools that helped me understand.

Stretch

I’m thankful for all readers. I know we’re all in different spiritual stages. Process of moving forward, means change. Let’s pray for readers struggling with this very issue. Definitely a hard place to be. Every spiritual level we arrive, we face being stretched. Exercise takes motivation. Conscious decisions are necessary. It may be a stringent process, rewards follow.

Moving forward making adjustments to follow God’s perfect way. Ready to stretch?

Be encouraged!
