My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth, and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. (James 5:19,20 NIV)
Error
Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death. Let’s say this 100 times. Sin = death, wages of sin is death. We are all sinners saved by grace. Grace saves, grace does not give a license to sin. Look closely at today’s verse, James was not talking to non-believers, he was talking to brothers and sisters in Christ.
Truth
It’s easy to wander from truth. The moment we think- we’ll never wander, tests begin. Reminds me of tenacious Peter. He would never deny Christ. Jesus told him, by the time the rooster crows, he will have denied Jesus three times. We have no rooster crowing, we have The Holy Spirit nudging. If we ignore The Holy Spirit, God will lead others to turn us from the error of our way. Determining heart conditions. Are we willing to be turned? Turning back to Biblical Truth, repenting from sin. Sin seeps innocently waiting to grasp hold when least expected.

Forward Friday!
Gracious! Moving forward is hard to fathom such behaviors expanding in every society. The group most susceptible to wandering, Christians. We are the ones agreeing to accept salvation through Jesus Christ, being lured away by satan’s tactics to justify sin. We have to guard our hearts and minds, staying true to Biblical Truth. Let’s move forward being a person willing to turn others from the error of their way. All done in God’s love, turning them from death. Sounds a bit harsh, yet pure truth.
Be encouraged!
