Purpose: Equipped To Answer… What Now?

Purpose: Equipped To Answer... What Now?Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrew 13:20,21 ESV)

Caffeine

Motivating Monday! Today’s verse is packed with more kick than any caffeine you attempt. Let’s move into thinking what now…what do we do now? Will more ground be lost by keeping silent or do we seek God to know our purpose for such a time as this?

Memories

As a little girl, I wanted a swimming pool more than anything. We lived in the country, a little deeper solitude than our rural area. Born last, my older brothers never liked taxing me around, even though they did more than their fair share. One day, my Dad must have suggested, likely not thinking I would, yet, I did…I cleaned the cement water trough used for cattle. I was so proud of myself, claiming my swim spot for the day. I love memories like this, they are part of who I am today.

Tenacious

When I think of my tenacious personality, no way I would have cleaned an old cement water trough any other way. Little did I know, I would be called to use this same personality to stand firm for God’s Word in a morally declining society. Think through your lifetime. What memories surface linking your personality to God’s purpose?

Equipped

Last week, standing firm, I presented God’s truth to current situation. A friend told me…I needed Jesus more than anyone they knew. Clearly, the tough skin developed over the last twenty years came in handy. A life time seeking Jesus, spending nine years studying the Bible in-depth with my Bible Study Fellowship sisters, all meant to equip me with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. More knowledge we understand, deeper desire to live for Jesus, honoring his eternal covenant. Once we reach full surrender, destiny will be released. Then we begin a new learning curve fulfilling our purpose.

Seeking

Writing has not been my natural gift like a tenacious spirit. However, my tenacious spirit keeps me seeking, willing to step into unknown territories such as…the writing world. Through this experience, I’m overjoyed with meeting so many wonderful individuals, several bringing great encouragement to God’s purpose I’m fulfilling.

Purpose

I share my story, to encourage you. God has given every individual purpose within. It may be dormant, yet with a heart softening to seek Jesus, purpose will be revealed. Keep seeking Jesus- He needs you and me.

Be encouraged!
