Produces Evil or Good…Depends on You!

The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45 ESV)

Social Media produces a strong force right now steering articles and comments toward political candidates. I ask myself- what is really true? Do I believe every article or photo? No. We have to be careful what we repost. Have you ever considered we are natural conduits of positive and negative energy? Conduits are channels transmitting or protecting something. Material channeled produces from our own inner beings- taking a look at our hearts and minds. What’s stored in our hearts is processed through our minds eventually produces words out our mouth.

Information

A conduit of negative energy becomes deceived. Fear is a tactic used by the devil. He aims to cancel faith any given moment. There is a good amount of information right now stirring fear within. Once fear has it’s grip- reasoning is rattled, clarity blurred. Again, we have to test spirits by being informed.

Obedience

Taking captive every contrary thought is vital to keeping a pure heart. 2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and every thought to make it obedient to Christ. The problem…do we want to be obedient to Christ? If we are a Christian- there is no question, obedience is key to ever moving forward.

Motivating Monday!

A conduit of positive energy stems from good treasure deposited in our hearts. This takes a little more effort- easy to find evil treasure. Energy is burned one way or other- It’s Motivating Monday! Let’s choose good treasure- keeping social media truthful and the abundance of our hearts pure.
