Medicine
Biblical Truth is like medicine for our soul. Medicine will not always taste great, actually quite bitter. So bitter many children spew out, having parents wrestle them to take. Our oldest had chronic asthma when he was small. Watching a child unable to breathe, seeing his chest rapidly pump up and down, medicine had to be taken.
Breathe
Looking around our society today, individuals are struggling to breathe. There is no mercy living by world standards. Only shouts of individual ideologies growing louder, trying to force their agenda around the world, especially right here in America. Knowing truth will set us free.
Truth
Listening, reading, studying, and memorizing scripture pours truth removing impurities within. As we store truth within and receive help from The Holy Spirit, an invisible wall is formed. A wall serving as a shield against sin. We’re an open target without this invisible wall. Once we allow a little sin, a tsunami awaits to wash over our entire being. At this point we decide to either repent or be engulfed into sin.
Good news!
Our flesh will not be happy. Flesh wants what flesh wants. Just like children dropping their toy, stealing another’s toy. Here’s good news! We all start with child-like faith. We accept Jesus as our personal Savior, we are like infants with so much to learn. God’s ways are not our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
Freedom
No need to live another day in bondage. No need to fear bullies in this world. More spiritual truth digested, greater wisdom, knowledge, and understanding gained. Allow God’s Word to seep deep into our systems, setting us free. Time to breath again. Whatever unhealthy situation worked it’s way in, has to be removed. Creating a heart like Christ is a beautiful experience. It’s a journey not to be missed! With each step forward, breathing becomes easier.
