Slumbering- Attacks- Societal Confusion

Slumbering- Attacks- Societal ConfusionAnd do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. (Romans 13:11 NIV)

Motivating Monday! We either need to be motivated to wake up from slumbering or we need motivation to love others through this election season. The situation is so clear to me, I am dumbfounded when I see any struggle. There are emotions across the board. Yet, my question is…what good is it attacking Trump now- by those against Hillary? The difference between these two- 1)has a proven record of ethical failure, leaving blood on her hands and untrustworthy; 2)one has a past record of moral failure, had business failures, yet, 98% have been successful.

Where slumbering comes in…how can anyone overlook list of proven ethical failures to lead a divisive America, be commander of Military, and pick future Supreme Court Justices?  What amazes me most- are people who will not vote Democrat, yet still attack Trump. Bottom line, he has done nothing criminal. Now, I understand this is a sad measuring stick to measure a presidential candidate. As many are saying Trump was not their first pick, yet, after seeing such excellence from his family during RNC convention, I’m convinced, he has more integrity and character than many want to admit.

Can we please use the old saying- if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all? We are not the judge of his heart. We do not know if he has repented or not. We do know, he has encircled himself with an amazing group of pastors from across our nation. Can we think for a moment- he is being equipped to become a President for all the American people? God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. Maybe, just maybe…God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and God’s ways are not our ways. Removing all media voices, lets spend time in prayer, hearing God’s take on this election.

I do not want anyone deceived. More societal confusion grows daily, causing lies to be believed as truth. This movement bases it’s reasoning that people will believe lies. We do not want to be slumbering or missing facts, deceived. The surest way to avoid deception is learning to discern between good vs. evil, right vs. wrong. We do this by seeking The Lord, growing in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Through prayer- God will lead on straight paths, even giving wisdom for this election season.

Be encouraged!
