Nourishment: Working Towards A Better Resolve

Nourishment: Working Towards A Better ResolveJesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)

Motivating Monday!

This verse never tires, it’s alive and a must to understand. The world changes, Jesus does not. It’s only through Jesus, one can be saved. Saved…a big word. Accepting Jesus as our personal Savior, saves us from destruction of eternal life in hell. Living in America, we have never been deprived from having a Bible. Why do they sit around unread? The knowledge held within is life giving, life changing, and when taken seriously, will result in eternal life in Heaven.

Resolve

We learn from others, become inspired, encouraged, motivated…all from circumstances that causes our hearts to pound and need to move- move towards a better resolve. Bingo! This may be the reason many stay stationary and have no hope- when pressure mounts- can one believe in a better resolve? With Biblical knowledge, we are equipped with wisdom and understanding like taking a dry sponge- brittle and torn; letting God’s Word begin like a trickle of water…tasting and seeing the sweetness of Jesus, wanting more of this refreshing nourishment for our souls.

Nourishment

I’ve been here before, knowing how it feels to be dry to the point of brittle and torn. Years of rejecting God’s full purpose in my life…struggling to keep up with what I had accepted. God never leaves nor forsakes, even though we feel like He has. We moved and  became involved in a weekly Bible study that was like a fountain of nourishment flowing from this pastor. Honestly, I did not realize how dry I became, and receiving this nourishment awakened me, making me stronger to understand my purpose. Fasting and praying are two powerful sources when working together, like parting the Red Sea. To the point of seeing God’s destiny released in my life. The same is true for you.

Experiences

Sharing this experience and what I experienced last week, I hope will help each one know the answer to what keeps us weary, indifferent, and unproductive. Weary I have been…BSF began. Studying God’s Word awakens…Roman 1 and 2 so far, I’m reminded God’s Word on sin and wrath that follows. Yesterday, while visiting our oldest in Texas, the pastor spent time explaining with multiple scriptures how we are all part of a team. Being a christian is a team sport, we win/we lose and how we help our brothers and sisters mature determines our success as a church. Powerful! Scripture- alive and God breathed, all for us to gain spiritual maturity, which releases blessings beyond our imagination.

Team Members

Days with no scripture, is like a day without power. If no scripture, the world fills all voids, leaving us to wonder. With God- we are purpose driven, following straight paths, avoiding the devil’s grip, and bringing glory back to God. With this motivation, we are on a winning team, a team member helping build each other up to let the devil know, we are unstoppable. Want on this team? Let me know, I will make sure no one is left out.

Be encouraged!
