Natural Elements, God’s Creation…Simple Truth

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that could be written. (John 21:24 NIV)

Motivating Monday! Wow! The whole world…not enough room to hold books sharing Jesus’ experiences on earth. Taking time to ponder this is simply, amazing! This scripture came to me as I began thinking about God’s creation, precisely rain. Rain, a natural element coming from above. Digging a little deeper, finding out rain comes mainly from oceans, even lakes and rivers contribute through evaporation, making this thought even better. God created all things, heaven and earth. Genesis 1:9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw it was good.

Simple

Simple. Take an empty bucket, set it outside. When this natural element- rain comes down, look what happens to the bucket. The more it rains, more the bucket fills with water. The bucket no longer is empty. Same is with our hearts. An empty heart is prone to hardening from filling with synthetic matters, imitating a natural product. Things of this world weigh heavy on our hearts. Those who read the Bible, understanding Biblical Truth have eyes wide open. We’re all called to the great commission. Jesus exhorting his disciples… “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”(Matthew 28:16-20 ESV)

Glory and Honor

This brings us to today. We are disciples of Christ, or pagans in this world. Where these two are mixed, societal confusion is formed. As confusion increases in America- exactly as the deceitful wishes to happen, the world needs to see Christians honoring God, bringing glory in all we do to His Holy Name, Jesus Christ. As rain fills a bucket, God- the One, True God is ready to fill empty hearts with Truth, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Through this, God’s promises become known, His provisions for our life, practical realities how to handle life all available to us, through reading/studying The Bible. May each be motivated to locate a Bible, ask Jesus to help our understanding, and fill hearts with pure truth. No wonder not enough room in this world, to hold books on Jesus’ experiences. Can we strive for the same legacy- all representing Christ?
