Commandments: Abiding, God’s Perfect Love

Commandments: Abiding, God's Perfect LoveAnd by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says, “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. (1 John 2:3-6 ESV)

Hope

Hope is a powerful source of movement forward. Jesus is our only hope, all else is fruitless and turns to disappointment. Freedom is not free- not for our country nor our salvation. Countless military movements have kept us free, members giving the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom; as Jesus died on the cross, the sacrificial lamb. Last night’s State of the Union, was a powerful reminder of America’s history and need to restore, never allowing socialism.

Redeem/Restore

When individuals smirked during part on late term abortions, a red flag. If we know God’s commandments and keep them, we will never agree with abortion…Thou shalt not kill. God forgives, He Redeems, and Restores those who come to him, heavy burdened from past sin. The two individuals released from prison, represented how lives can be transformed. This is God’s Redemption. Aligning our lives with Christ, we want to know Jesus, His commandments, growing from point of salvation into Spiritual maturity.

Commandments

Yielding to God’s Will, we desire to become clean from all past sin. Jesus makes us white as snow, taking away our sin. What is sin? The Bible defines throughout, and reason we need to study and learn God’s Word. As churches move further away from preaching conviction, it’s our responsibility to know and keep God’s commandments- judgment day, we will be judged. Scripture states, anyone who claims to know Jesus, not keeping God’s commandments is a liar, and the Truth is not in them. This is serious- and as vital of a point, so is the one who keeps God’s commandments to walk as Jesus walked. God’s love will be perfected.

Avoid Being Deceived

Let’s not be deceived by personal agendas, or wealthy politicians/dirty politics. The smirks must have been from thinking about all money banked by their support of abortions. I believe more and more people are awakening to the leftist schemes and deceptions. The more we study God’s Word, greater our discernment will strengthen, helping us to define good from evil. We do not want to be deceived. Let us walk as Jesus walked.

Be encouraged!
