Sin: Compromising Biblical Truth…Indulgence

Deceptive Methods- Increase Societal ConfusionJust as it is written in the law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster upon us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does, yet we have not obeyed him. (Daniel 9:13, 14 NIV)

Faith

Daniel proves we can keep our faith, avoid compromise and live with a nation disrespecting our beliefs. He spent decades in Babylon, after captured and dragged into captivity. God allowed the Babylonian nation to conquer Jerusalem and take their people captive- all do to sin, and refusing to obey God’s commands. Daniel chapter 9 is Daniel’s prayer to God concerning His nation’s circumstance.

Compromise?

Disaster is possible, unlike any we’ve seen or experienced. Disaster concerning our country is permeating like a seed waiting to sprout, all needed is a change in power. We are seeing the deceptive plans of the opposing forces crumble and truth will prevail. If…Americans are willing to accept Truth. Key individuals are anti-American and in Congress- seems almost unbelievable, yet it’s true. Battles are being fought to honor Christian beliefs. There is an underlying force surfacing, gaining traction waving like a deceptive gas, causing indifference within and slumber upon Bible believing individuals…who seem to be willing to compromise their Biblical faith.

Sin

Sin has a way to wedge between individuals and Church. The devil works to create strife, batting one person against another. Deception has wrapped around news agencies, American publishing houses have been purchased by foreigners. Truth is slipping….I believe we even need to be careful with new Bibles. When a nation is engulfed in sin, refusing to obey God’s laws and commands…I cringe at what can happen.

Think…

Americans are not above God’s wrath. Warnings and red flags have been staked- and deceived individuals call this hate. What are we to do? Imagine the possibilities….I’m reminded of Philippians 4:8:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Be encouraged!
