Faith…Vital for Life; Right Vs. Wrong

Faith...Vital for Life; Right Vs. WrongNow faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead. (Hebrews 11:1-4 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

Faith is vital for life. It’s valuable as the breath we breathe, with every heartbeat. Never would I have thought to be living through similar times as polio outbreak, the atomic bomb scares, We have reason to be concerned- especially when Congress was ready to sign a much needed Bill- one that has nothing to do with abortion that Top Dem’s keep trying to force and manipulate in order for agreement. We’ll be hearing today, how Pelosi and Schumer politicizing, kept both parties from signing. In midst of C’Virus concerns, please keep alert about what is happening in DC. How does this have to do with faith?

Faith

Faith is important to what we hope for- certain of what we do not see. It’s been explained how wind can be felt, not seen. Hope can only be fulfilled- with an all-knowing, all-powerful, one and only- Sovereign God. He is our only hope when faced with tragic situations. Tragic situations can end two ways- 1) a miracle or 2) a tragedy. It is up to us, who we place our hope- developing a strong Word knowledge, deepens our relationship with Jesus. Once we follow His commands, obedience to Scripture- laws and God’s mercy and grace…we’re much better equipped to approach God’s throne room, praying for needs- no matter how dire.

The Heart…

We see the heart of Abel, he offered God a better sacrifice. The Lord told Cain-  if he did what was right, he would be accepted, too. “If you do not do what is right- sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you. but you must master it.” God’s very own words, the full story can be found in Genesis 4. As we know, Cain failed to master sin. He killed Abel. Abel is the one to be found righteous in God’s eyes, and still lives in Heaven today. Cain does not.

Right Vs. Wrong

Sin is the same today; there is right and wrong. The foundation set within is determined by our own choosing- not defined by past mistakes or other’s remarks. This defines our decision making, ability to set boundaries, grow in our Spiritual journey’s- or not. Faith in Jesus Christ is the game changer to living life abundant or ruled by the world, indulging into sin. No matter how man wants to justify sin- God has the final Word. We need to choose this day who we will serve- just as Joshua presented to the Israelites. Thankfully, it’s not too late, and the decision can be made to choose Jesus- The Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Opportunity…

I’m always on the road kind of mom- taking to soccer practice or baseball games, though now they each drive…sequestered at home is not natural to me. However, I can say- we have an amazing opportunity to tune in to worship leaders like Micheal W. Smith, pastors like Jentenzen Franklin…These were two our family tuned into yesterday and felt my Sprit enriched; realizing an anointing I have been missing. We have a great opportunity to grow and learn in Jesus…and certain to grasp for today. God did not give us a spirit of fear, He gave us a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. This my friends, we must tap into…God’s Powerful anointing. Let’s be motivated to pray and seek Jesus more, trusting this virus will end sooner than speculation.

Be encouraged!
