Authority: Governing Authorities, Respect, and America

Authority: Governing Authorities, Respect, and AmericaEveryone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves. (Romans 13:1,2 NIV)

Forward Friday!

Today marks 25 days until we vote for the continued Presidency of President Trump. People want to disconnect relationship between God and government, yet, Scripture throughout relates to both. In the OT- every king was noted as doing right in God’s eyes or having done evil. Paul discusses in Romans, if we want to be free from fear of authority- we will do what is right; God will commend us.

Authority

Clearly, The President has done right in God’s eyes. He who honors Israel, God will honor. Just the opposite for those who oppose Israel. Pro-life- he does not murder. One of our 10 Commandments- Thou shall not murder. He’s a good steward of America’s economy- standing against enemies, stopping massive bleeds from previous administrations’ poor management, and working peace agreements. A blessing to desire leading Christian leaders to come often and pray over him.

America

America is the land we love. We want freedom and God’s Word permeating throughout the world, every country. Grateful for years of in-depth Bible study for such as time as this. In order to understand good vs. evil at work in our nation, we must have a certain level of Spiritual maturity. Evil is the devil’s language. He lies, he is the father of lies. Anyone who lies, is aligned with the devil. Scripture today, states- all authority has been established by God. Those who rebel against Governing Authority, rejects God- bringing judgement on themselves.

Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding…

The more we seek Jesus, more we find. Knowledge, wisdom, and understanding will increase more as Scripture is studied. Christians is a loose term- sadly. Many will call on the Lord, and He will answer them, “I never knew you.” This is very serious. We do not want to be justifying sin, when Scripture is being rejected. John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word… vital to study, learn, and understand as we move forward! Be sure to spend time praying and respect God’s authority. He  will open minds to understand.

Be encouraged!
