Lies: False Propaganda Vs. Connection w/Christ

Lies: False Propaganda Vs. Connection w/ChristAnswer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? (Psalms 4:1,2 ESV)

Motivating Monday!

Motivating Monday! Days away from celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ…Christmas. Memories from 2016 flash through minds, thumping our beating hearts. Do you know Jesus? Do you really know Jesus? King David had developed a sincere relationship with Jesus through years of training. From time as a shepherd boy, defeating Goliath with natural stones, declining man’s way of thinking. No easy task, developed when learning to trust God/Jesus/Holy Spirit over the world.

Negative Propaganda/Lies

The main dish served by the world is negative propaganda- lies. Loving vain words and seeking after lies is not a new concept. King David dealt with same issues years ago. In David’s heart, he knew…But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. (v. 3) This is comforting.

Honoring Jesus

Honoring Jesus in all we do takes diligent willingness; transforming mind, taking captive every thought contrary to God’s Word. In order to be successful…we have to study God’s Word or we will not know, placing us into the ignorant category. This is not to attack one’s character or integrity- if individuals choose not to learn- they become ignorant to truth.

Be Gracious, O Lord

I read a comment recently…riding on the wave of success. Lord, have I been doing this? Being intuitive to God’s Spirit, we know when conviction taps. The problem with wave riding longevity, easy to reach comfort zones, relaxing while missing next step in our personal- spiritual journey. As we work on taking captive every contrary thought, know that lies come from the Father of lies, Satan. Best way to stop a lie- refuse to promote any false propaganda.

Be gracious to us, O Lord, and hear our prayers…

Be encouraged!
