Triumphs: Overcoming Life Experiences W/Success

Triumphs: Overcoming Life Experiences W/Success“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)

Forward Friday!

Forward Friday! Moving forward was the day we walked into a theme park with three kiddos, no diaper bag, no double stroller, total triumph! Stages in life are similar. When our youngest met height requirement for rides we all wanted to ride- sent us to the moon! We were so excited. Now my middle child near completing 7th grade, excitement in his eyes sparkling, almost an 8th grader. Soon to be top dogs in his elementary school. Life is full of excitement, yet can be slipping away for others.

Marveled

Many marveled at Mount Hermon with an 88 year old male attendee desiring to publish books. Age does not limit triumphs. Living life under invisible blankets shield experiencing life, missing some of God’s most amazing blessings. Does stepping out mean missing punches, no. Life is full of cranky- ill willed individuals who have zero kindness. Life is also full of loving individuals. Through prayer and keeping our eyes on Jesus, He will order our steps directly to these loving individuals.

Purpose

Life circumstances may start out less than ideal, yet rising above hardship is a true triumph. God created each person with a purpose destined to return glory back to Him. Throwing in a wrench, stops triumphs. The world we live in desires to return glory to self. Making false gods out of individuals, material items, natural resources, and whatever else comes to mind, leaving triumphs unmet.

Triumphs

Jesus says, “Take heart, I have overcome the world.” In Jesus we can have peace when our world seems troubled. Overcoming means overcoming hardships with God’s strength. When we are weak, He is strong. God shames the strong/arrogant by rising the weak. In society’s view, my beliefs would cause them to perceive me weak. When God’s Word is power running through my veins. Makes me want to shout, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!” You know what? I can and so can you. Are you ready to overcome? Let’s move forward, experiencing more triumphs in life. No way do we want life slipping away.

Be encouraged!
