Military Actions Sacrificed, Not In Vain

Military Actions Sacrificed, Not In VainNow the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV)

Memorial Day! Freedom comes with a cost. A day remembering lives, who stepped out to make a difference. Soldiers leaving comfort of home, taking risk for our country. Death standing for what they believed, not to be in vain. To each family, we are grateful.

A battle continues with much threat towards freedom secured by past military action. Seems greatest challenges are within this round. Hundreds of top US Military officials have been removed over last few years. A virus attacking experience among Christians, seem to be targets. Removing God from other entities have proved destructive. Public Schools, after decades, now struggle. Weakening institutions, weakening society caused by cowards seeking power.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings of eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31) Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Those trying to remove God, fail to see repercussions.

Dear friends, we have ground to regain. With the Holy Spirit’s help working within believers- engaging God’s power, we’re equipped for every good work. If the Holy Spirit nudges you a certain direction, you are most needed in that area. Many of us are not military, yet we are part of God’s army- spiritually speaking. We live in wide open mission fields. One of the greatest is within churches. Praying for leadership to stay true to God’s Word, avoiding pitfalls pride causes. From top down to the least of these, need our prayers.

Satan’s greatest desire takes away freedom, causing bondage- stealing, killing, and destroying. Trusting in God will renew our strength. Where the Spirit of the Lord is- if we believe, He is within- freedom is within. Now this is something to get excited about, very motivating. Motivating Monday! Let’s live in freedom!

Be encouraged!
