Seeds Planted During VBS Need Protected

He called a little child and had him stand among them. Motivating Monday! The buzz we hear is the sound of much preparation for VBS happening all over the world. There is nothing quite like seeing the excitement in young children learning about the Bible. The church I was raised had Children Crusades. What a fun time. Stop and tell the story- Go…I wish I could remember all the words with this song. This tune has never left my mind.

Celebration

We visited a church yesterday, while being out of town. It happened to be their VBS celebration Sunday. I began pondering how many seeds were planted in over 400 children and adults this church hosted. Wouldn’t you love to know how many will attend a VBS worldwide this summer? I think we would be amazed!

Seeds

Join me praying that seeds planted during VBS will be nurtured with lots of sunshine and appropriate amounts of water. I wonder how many teens and adults walk around with dormant seeds within. Seeds once ready to sprout doused with negativity, naysayers, and any form of distraction satan believed that would work. How many prove him wrong?

Not Too Late

Let’s be motivated to include in our prayers all mankind with seeds planted long ago, waiting to germinate. It’s not too late to say…Yes! to Jesus. He is more than one can ever imagine. Basic Bible stories, meaningful songs with a fun beat, crafts to reinforce topic, and refreshments to nourish the little bodies.  All VBS workers- you are planting seeds for life. We’ll join you praying these seeds bloom into spiritual maturity. God is so good!
