Blessings Overflow W/True Source Identified

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. (John 15:19 NIV)

Understanding

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. How well do we believe these words? Life can deal difficulties. Even Christians face trials while standing firm in faith. Prayers prayed are submitted under God’s sovereignty for His will to be done. Understanding this helps when we want to shout to God disagreeing with answered prayer.

Blessings

For daily life, we understand- if blessings are going to flow, they will only flow from God, our source. If we sit waiting for God to hand us an umbrella during a downpour, we may wait till the sun shines. Faith without action is dead. Actions determine faith levels. The two work hand in hand. We often forget faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.

Faith

Imagine greater faith moving God. He saw the lady giving in her lack. He saw the lady begging for crumbs. He felt the lady touching His garment. Guys, no worries- examples are clear of men gaining God’s attention. Those who seek God with pure hearts, trust Him for everything. We seek Him in prayer, worship, and scripture learning. Seeking Him, we look for paths He has ordained. Setting foot on these paths lead to good and perfect gifts. Others around fail to understand this concept. It counters the world beliefs of self. To play by the world’s view, one must be accepted by the world. It cannot be both- we have to choose.

Choice

Therefore, choose to live for God- if not, by default world views take place. Being a Christian, honoring God’s Word, takes discipline. It takes accepting we are in this world, just not part of the world. Social circles in and out of church may not accept one’s desire to walk deeper with Christ. It’s a tricky time we live. The grey areas so many wanted- have blurred black and white truth.

Difference

Choosing Jesus over this world, seeking Him- walking His paths for our life, lead to blessings overflowing. It is truly God from whom all blessing flow. Align our life with scripture and watch the difference it will make.
